Benjamin Hughes, a senior at San Marino High, finished fourth in the Division 4 boys final at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Hughes covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:26.0 to set a new program record and become the first San Marino male competitor since 1994 to earn all-state honors.
